Taipei, Taiwan – The Ministry of Labor (MOL) committee approved the Wage salary increased from NT$26, 400 to NT$27, 470 per month, starting January 2024.
The wage increased by NT$1,070 per month and increased of NT$7 per hour from NT$176 to NT$183. Taiwan’s minimum, monthly and hourly wage will rise by 4.05% and 3.9% respectively starting from January 1, 2024. This wage hike is the 8th consecutive since President Tsai Ing-wen took office in 2016, read also here the wage increased last year.

According to MOL statistics, 1.7 million of workers will benefit from the monthly salary increased. An estimated half a million of workers will benefit from the hourly wage hike.
