Gilas hopes started when they upset the world no.6 rank Latvia but back-to-back loss against the Georgia in the group stage and Brazil in the semi-finals.
Gilas started early and led a dozen to end the opening quarter and led as much 14 to start in the second quarter.
But, on the second half Brazil finds a rhythm with 13-0 run and outscored the Gilas with 24-6 in the third quarter alone.
Justin Brownlee finished the game with 15 points, 12 of them in the first half. June Mar Fajardo finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.
Brazil went 44-27 in the second half to end Gilas run in the recent FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament held in the Arena, Ariga Latvia.
Bruno Caboclo led Brazil with 15 points and 11 rebounds, Marcelinho Huertas also added 13 points and 7 assists.
