Mark Magsayo the 5’6 inch has an excellent record of 24-0 now after beating Gary Russell in a majority decision, the 26-year old Magsayo is now the new WBC featherweight champion. Magsayo is expecting a huge payout after the fights since his professional debut against Melton Sandal on May 25, 2013.
Magsayo is expected to make a guaranteed pocket money of $175,000, with total payouts amounting to that of $350,000 (including ppv bonus).

Mark Magsayo possible next fight will be against Rey Vargas of Mexico who had an excellent record also with (35-0, 22 KOs). WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman explained that Magsayo will not have a chance of an optional fight because he contracted the obligations of the previous champion, who had already been notified to face Vargas.
