Our own Gilas Pilipinas already assembled the final 12 roasters that will compete in this Fiba World Cup 2023 that will be held in 3 countries Philippines, Japan and Indonesia from August 25 to September 10.
This will be the strongest roster ever assembled in Philippine National Team with an average height of 6’5, below are the final roster.

According to Coach Chot Reyes its not easy to assemble this final 12 roster.
It’s not because of anything they did wrong or a deficiency on their part. It’s just that we had to mae a choice. In the end, we had 16 guys and we can only choose 12. And then for me, that is really a coach’s most difficult job.
Unlucky for Chris Newsome, Calvin Oftana, Bobby Ray Parks Jr. and Thirdy Ravena who did not complete the final 12 rosters of the Philippine Nation Team. Kai Sotto is the tallest in Gilas Team standing at 7’2 and the shortest Kiefer Ravena 6’0.
Gilas will open their 2023 Fiba World Cup campaign against the Dominican Republic team headed by Karl Anthony Towns but Gilas also led by a former NBA Sixth Man of the Year “2021” Jordan Clarkson. The clash between these 2 teams will be tonight August 25,2023 8:00pm at Philippine Arena.
