Taipei, Taiwan is set to open up jobs for migrant workers in the hospitality industry for the first time in early 2026 to fill the gap of 6,600 workers in the sector.

According to the Tourism Administration in Taiwan, migrant staff at hotels will be allowed to do room service, cleaning, service desk, and restaurant work.
Employees should have basic knowledge of Mandarin and the minimum wage for this job will be NT$32,000 (Php 60,000).
