The 2025 Asia Pacific Orchid Conference (APOC) and Taiwan International Orchid Show (TIOS) officially opened on March 8 to March 23 at the Orchid Garden of the MoA Agriculture Technology Park Administration Center in Houbi District.

Every three years Orchid Show Displays host rotates between different member cities in the Asia-Pacific region and is to return to Tainan for its 15th edition for the first time since 2004.
Seventeen foreign representatives from ten countries attended the opening ceremony, including Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Lucia, St. Kitts and Nevis, Chile, Canada, Austria, Singapore, the Philippines, Japan, and New Zealand. AIT Kaohsiung Branch Chief Neil Gibson and his family visited the Orchid Show the following day.
