Manila, Philippines — TV icon Gloria Romero has passed away at the age 91. Born Gloria Anne Borrego Galla, Romero.

Gloria Romero started her acting career in the late 1940’s. She starred several movies and one the, that made her star is “Madame X in 1952”. Two year later she earned her first FAMAS Award for Best Actress award in “Dalagang Ilocana” movie.
Notable movie of the late Gloria Romero include “Tanging Yaman”, “Magnifico”, “Nagbabagang Luha”, “Beautiful Sunset.”
Romero’s wake will be at the Arlington Memorial Chapel in Quezon City.
