China 48-46 lead melted as Clarkson erupted and started the 27-3 in the Philippines to end the third period ahead “73-51”.
China’s Naturalized player Kyle Anderson led with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists.
The victory marked the Philippines as the first win in the Fiba World Cup game at home after losing all 8 games when hosting the tournament since 1978.
