The Denver Nuggets won their first NBA Title in Franchise history, after long drought the Denver Nuggets become the NBA Champion since joining the NBA in 1967. Entering the NBA 2023 Finals the Denver Nuggets are the heavy favorite to win the title against the Miami Heat in the finals.
Nuggets dispatched the Minnesota Timberwolves in 5 games led by their young superstar Anthony Edwards, they also eliminated the fans’ favorite Team Phoenix Suns led by Kevin Durant and Devin Booker in 6 games and sweep the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals led by 2 superstar LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
Denver Nuggets reached the NBA Finals without losing home games in post season not until game 2 of the finals when they suffer first home loss against the Miami Heat in game 2 of the Finals “111-108”, although that was the only game that Miami Heat won as the Nuggets won the next 3 games to capture first NBA Title.
Nikola Jokić led the Nuggets and bag his first Finals MVP averaging 30.2 points, 14 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and 1.4 steals in the NBA Finals 2023.
