Chris Banchero becomes the first PBA Player to hit a 4-point

Manila, Philippines – Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) announced it last month that it will implement the 4-point in the PBA Governor’s cup 49th season opening game between Meralco Bolts and Magnolia Hotshots at the Araneta Coliseum on Sunday August 18, 2024.

Chris Banchero record the first 4-point at 10:26 mark in the 2nd quarter from Allen Durham Assists. Later on Jolo Mendoza also from Meralco Bolts sink a 4-point.

PBA is the first Professional Basketball League to implement a 4-point in the world.
